In order to successfully process the July 1, 2014 negotiated salary increases for class 1 Post-Doctoral Associates, please submit the July 1, 2014 salary increase for each Post Doc Associate directly to the HCM/Payroll system using the “Request Ad Hoc Salary Change” action. The Ad Hoc Salary Change requests for the Post Doctoral Associates July 1, 2014 increase need to be submitted through the HCM system with the appropriate documentation attached no later than June 13, 2014 for the July 3, 2014 payroll.
Enhancements to the HCM/Payroll system now provide the attachment functionality for Ad Hoc Salary Change requests.
In order to successfully hire and onboard Class 6 Academic Year Teaching Assistants and Graduate Assistants during the summer months as Class 5 Student Workers, please be aware of the following processes:
Rutgers University’s peak reappointment and hiring period has begun. We have listed below a few guidelines to assist you, as you begin to process your faculty reappointments. Please use the following information to help determine when new salary and other information should be entered into HCM to support faculty reappointments and promotions that will be effective as of July 1, 2014.
Also, please review the HCM Job Action Schedule on the HCM Blog to be certain that you submit your processing requests between the appropriate submission “begin date” and “no later than date“. The final date to submit reappointments effective July 1, 2014 to meet the July 3, 2014 paycheck deadline is June 13, 2014. However, fully completed and signed reappointment requests effective July 1 can be submitted now.
